Uptown Pubs on St. Paddy's day
Ah, spring. Warmer temperatures, the scent of flowers, song of birds, and the sound of Bagpipes filling the air. It was a great weekend of piping with the North Texas Caledonians at the North Texas Irish Festival, where many musicians gathered from all around Texas, the United States and Canada.
St. Patrick's day is also right around the corner, and with it come many parties, parades, and festivities. I am pleased to again celebrate by participating in the Greenville Ave. parade with the Jabari Memorial Pipe Band, and I will be performing down at the Idle Rich pub in Uptown Dallas on the 17th, the actual holiday itself.
